The Third Annual Newport 10 Miler will have a new summer date in 2015. Whether you're an advanced runner or just looking for a scenic run/walk, the Newport 10 Miler and Fort Adams Fun Run offer a race for everyone.
Unparrelleled Scenic Oceanfront Racing
The Newport 10 Miler starts outside the east wall of historic Fort Adams. The course will prominently feature Newport's scenic coastal views around the famed Ocean Drive and will pass many Bellevue Avenue mansions. The finish line is truly unique as participants will enter the Fort through the north gate and finish on the parade field.

NEW: Largest and Fastest Team Prizes
Gather your friends and family and join or create a team when registering to compete for the team prizes.
Largest Team Prize: The team with the most members at the end of online registration will be awarded a prize.
Fastest Team Prize: Fastest team time will be based on the top three times with at least one male and one female participant tallying.
2.2 Mile Fun Run!
In order to showcase Fort Adams State Park to runners of all speeds and ages, we have changed the 5k race to a 2.2 mile Fun Run around scenic Fort.
The race will share the start and finish lines with the 10 Miler and start 10 minutes after.
The Fort Adams Trust is a non-profit tasked with directing and supporting the stabilization, restoration, maintenance and operation of Fort Adams as a public historic site.
We are proud to have raised over $14,000 for the trust in our first two years.

NEWPORT NIGHT RUN
The second annual Newport Night Run will be held on February 20, 2015, starting at Easton's Beach at 7:00 p.m. Newport's first and only nighttime race will be held during Winterfest and will benefit the Newport Public Education Foundation.
The Craft Brew Races makes it's inaugural stop in Newport this summer on July 18 at Fort Adams State Park. The Craft Brew Races is a 5k and post-race local craft beer festival open to runners and walkers 21 and older.
We're thrilled to announce this year's Craft Brew Races event schedule. We are expanding the series from five New England races to 10 national events in 2015, with new races in Georgia, Texas, South Carolina, Colorado, and Massachusetts.
WHAT IS IT?
The Craft Brew Races is for runners and walkers who love local craft beer. The events consist of a time 5k race with individual and team awards, followed by a 3+ hour local craft brew festival with consisting of over 30 breweries. All participants must be 21+ to register.
Festival Only and Designated Driver tickets are also available for those wishing to attend just the festival portion of the event.
WHAT DO I GET
All Participants will receive entry into the 5k Brew Run and post-race festival, which will showcase 30+ craft breweries. Finisher's will get a Craft Brew Races medal at the end of the race, and an official pint glass (pictured right). Live music will be played throughout the festival and local food vendors will be selling onsite.
The 2015 Tour de Patrick 5k race series websites are now open for registration. Register now and save before the first price increase on January 1, 2015. Long sleeve technical t-shirts to early entrants. See Details below.
Sign up for any one, two or complete the Tour de Patrick by Running all three races. Each race is followed immediately by the local city's St. Patrick's Day Parade. You not have to run all three races to be part of the Tour de Patrick.
All entrants will receive a race t-shirt, but the early entrants will receive the long sleeve technical shirts shown below.
